For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
1 Corinthians 15-58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Mission and Purpose
Ushers posses a humbling and meek demeanor. An Usher is the first person that a guest is greeted by so they have a welcoming and God-like presence about them. They are in charge of preparing the church for the guests to worship. They are responsible for the order of the service running and flowing properly. Ushers are here to give comfort and be a convenience to all in the sanctuary, guidance in seating and to assist the ministerial staff as needed.
The Usher Board consists of the Junior and Senior Ushers and are always looking for those that have a pleasant, friendly, and loving spirit when greeting members and guests or interacting in any manner. If you have a gift of hospitality, join our ministry.
